We would love you to join us for the most fabulous, festive event of the year...our Female Veterans Alliance: Christmas Glitter Ball 2026 🪩✨

Women from across our community will be coming together for an unforgettable day of sparkles, sisterhood, and celebration at the stunning the Hilton Cardiff.

Polite notice: this is not a 'bring a plus one' event - the tickets are available for female veterans, service leavers, sponsors and guests invited by FVA.

EVENT DETAILS

🕛 14:00 - 19:00 (After Party continues until 22:00)

Your ticket includes an arrival drink, 3-course dinner, and a DJ spinning the festive bangers.

The After Party will roll straight on from the afternoon event and into the evening, we have split the timings so you do not feel obligated to stay for the duration if you don't want to 😊

Interpret this however you like – floor-length gown, velvet suit, sparkly jumpsuit…wear what makes you feel amazing!

LOCATION

The Hilton is conveniently located in Cardiff city centre.

🚆 Nearest train stations: Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Central.

🚗 The hotel doesn’t have its own car park - the NCP Greyfriars Road is the nearest option.

ACCOMMODATION

The Hilton have kindly offered us 15% discount on their room rates using code XMAS2026 - please note: this discount only applies if you book directly with the hotel. You may get a cheaper rate by using your Blue Light Card or a third party booker.

There are plenty of other hotels nearby, including Park Plaza, Premier Inn, Travelodge etc. Please let us know if you need any assistance to find accommodation. 

We will do a group request for 'early check ins' so you can get ready, but these are not guaranteed. We have arranged for a 'changing area' to be available next to the event room, for those of you that are not staying over/cannot access your room early.

When you have purchased your ticket, you will receive an invitation via Facebook or by email to join a private Facebook Group specifically for this event. This space will be an opportunity for you to connect with other guests prior to the Glitter Ball, arrange travel buddies and also accommodation shares etc. There is absolutely no pressure for you to accept the invitation.

If there’s anything you would like to share that will make your time with us more comfortable and enjoyable, please let us know. We’ll always do our best to support you.

Please note: Tickets are non-refundable. You are welcome to gift/sell your ticket to another female veteran or service leaver - if you do please let us know so we can update the seating plan and ensure any allergies/dietaries are catered for. When the event is sold-out and we have a reserve list, we are happy to facilitate resales on your behalf.
