Nina Chizungu FCRJ's 2025/26 Activist-in-Residence shares her project From Survival to Governance: Women of the Great Lakes on the Frontline. The project draws on photography and storytelling to make visible the everyday activism of women across the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi.

The session opens with a live guided exhibition: Nina moves through the photographs, testimonies, audio and video that shaped the project, reflecting on power, leadership and the emotional and political life of resistance. She will be joined by two participants to connect the visuals to the project's political questions.

Presented in French, with live interpretation into English.
Language: Delivered in French, with live French–English interpretation
