AXE THE EMPIRE! A Blacklight Axe-Throwing Experience

AXE THE EMPIRE IS FOR YOU IF:

🪓 You’re craving emotional release
🪓 You’re ready to move anger, grief, or frustration with intention and in community
🪓 You are curious about the physical outlet of Axe-throwing in a supportive space

You don’t need to explain your rage. You don’t need to perform anything.
Your rage is welcome here. Show up as you are.

This event centers Femme and QTBIPOC folks. We welcome people of ALL identities to join us and move their rage.

SESSION TIMES:

Session 1: 7:15 to 8:30 pm
Session 2: 9:00 to 10:15 pm

EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

Rage Doulas
Trained facilitators holding safety, consent, and care as you SUMMON YOUR RAGE and move big feelings through your body.

Neon Balloon Pop Targets
Write down deserves your rage and STRIKE IT WITH AN AXE!

Rage Body Paint
Neon markings to HONOR YOUR RAGE and glow under blacklight.

Collective Release
A shared container where individual throws become COMMUNAL WITNESSING 

Grounding Decompression Zone
A soft landing for breath, water, and nervous system care before and after your throw.

Safety Considerations

• Axe throwing is a physical activity and all participants must follow facilitator instructions and safety guidelines

• Safety protocols will be reviewed at the start of each session

• Closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing you can safely move and swing in are required

• This is a chemical scent free space to support accessibility. Essential oils and natural scents are welcome

• Masks are highly encouraged

• Please stay home if you are not feeling well
