Chair Yoga 2
This class will help you improve your flexibility, balance and strength. For part of the session you will be seated and you will also spend some time on standing and balance exercises, using the chair as a prop and support. To finish, you will do some relaxing breathing before re-starting the rest of the day refreshed and energised. You don’t need special clothing or shoes - just wear something loose and comfortable around the waist.
Janis is a qualified Yoga teacher and has taught for 20+ years. She now prefers to focus on supporting anyone, of any age and fitness level, who would like some gentle exercises and stretches designed to improve flexibility, balance and strength. Janis also runs courses in Improving your Balance and Breathing for Relaxation - if you would like to know more about these either check the website (fernhursthub.org.uk) or contact Janis at the email address below.
The next term will run for 7 weeks from Tuesday 26th May to Tuesday 21st July (with a two week break on 16th and 23rd June) between 3pm and 4.15pm at the Fernhurst Village Hall.
