Join us for the Driven to Care Scholarship Fundraiser Rally and John Weinberger Tribute

Join fellow Ferrari Club of America members and Continental AutoSports Ferrari clients for a Rally and tribute honoring Founder John Weinberger, and help open doors for the next generation of automotive professionals.
The Footprints Foundation's Driven to Care program is a charitable initiative launched by the Weinberger Family, who, over the years, as the Continental Motors Group, gave away 73 refurbished cars to families and individuals in need. Upon passing, John's wife Lisa renamed their scholarship program to carry on the Driven to Care (DTC) name and launched their Student Experience program. The program puts students "in the room" - at race tracks, restoration shops, professional garages, dealerships, and beside the engineers, master technicians, and team owners who've built careers in this industry. Their Student Experiences also connect students to a wide array of non-technical careers through mentors such as automotive journalists, photographers, parts suppliers, etc.
John and Lisa shared a commitment to supporting passionate automotive students who have financial need. They cared about education and creating pathways for others to enter and succeed in the industry.
Since its inception, DTC has hosted 1000+ students and connected them with mentors to learn about career paths, and leave with contacts and next steps they didn't have before. Funds raised through this Rally directly support these hands-on experiences.
The Footprints Foundation of Illinois is a 501(c)(3). Visit www.DrivenToCare.org to learn more about our programs. Please also visit johnweinbergerlegacy.org to see John's Final Victory Lap and learn more about his passion for people and cars.

The event begins, May 30th, 9am at Continental AutoSports for pastries, beverages and socialization. The Rally will kickoff at 9:45am with the 1st stop at the Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, IL, John's resting site, for a remembrance and tribute. John passed during the Covid Pandemic. Many of his friends and acquittances' were not able to attend his services.

The Rally continues with the 2nd stop at Joel Weinberger's special car collection at “The Engine House”. This will be the first time for many of us to see Joel's unique collection. There is plenty of Ferrari parking at the site. Refreshments will be served.
The 3rd and final stop will be at Lisa Weinberger's home where lunch will be provided. A large collection of John and Lisa's automobile memorabilia will be on display with auctions being held to raise funds for their Driven to Care Scholarship program.
Detailed driving directions will be provided.
