Venue change: Please note this event will now take place at Sheffield Hallam University - Charles St Building.

The UK population consumes 2.6 planet’s worth of resources each year. This needs to be addressed to tackle global inequality and avoid environmental disaster. To achieve this, we need to talk about consumption as a system and a culture. Through talks and interactive exercises, we invite you to reflect on our consumption cultures, debate the point at which consumption ceases to support wellbeing and becomes problematic for us and the planet, and discuss alternative visions for good lives and success.
