Join the fun and interactive role-playing game where you run the city of Empaville, and simulate a climate-themed participatory budgeting process integrating in-person deliberation, digital voting and local decision making to make your city greener and democratic for all.

Part Two: Legislative Theatre: Watch, Act, Propose, Vote
1:30 - 3:30pm

Join us for a hands-on introduction to Legislative Theatre, a participatory democracy practice that's innovative, accessible, grassroots and fun, with a track record of local and national policy changes in housing, climate justice, health care and more. The workshop will be followed by an open dialogue about applications of Legislative Theatre and other creative participatory tools within communities and institutions around the UK. Open to all.
