The Margate We're Dreaming Of - Exhibition

What kind of Margate do you want to live in? More trees, more places to play, more walking and cycling around town?

Naturehood is a local collective for nature, people, and community. They’ve been working with the local community to explore what kind of town people want to live in. 

This has resulted in a joint community artwork display exploring ideas to make Margate a healthier, happier and more connected town.

Open daily 1st - 3rd Oct, between 1pm - 6pm.

Come along for a FREE cyanotype workshop on Friday 2nd Oct, as part of First Fridays, between 4pm - 6pm.

The project was possible with workshops at SpeakUp CIC, Happy Monday's, Girl Guiding & Brownies, Thanet Coastal Team, East Kent Mencap, Windmill Community Gardens, Youth Climate & Community Group, and Turner Contemporary. 

Special thanks to local artist Carson Parkin-Fairley who created the art workshops, and Rebecca Strickson and Megan Garrett-Jones for sharing their community art projects as well.
