Eastern Permaculture Gathering
Join us for a relaxed weekend of permaculture based workshops, discussions and community camping, in a beautiful South Norfolk field. The gathering is a chance for like-minded folk to come together, connect with the land and share food and stories around a fire.
We'll have a very gentle schedule of workshops and talks taking place throughout the weekend including:
Introduction to permaculture with Steve Land
Tool maintenance, sharpening and handle making with Andy Harland
Permaculture garden design workshop with Paul Lucas
Fireside music with Nature's Song
... and more to be announced!
This year the Eastern Permaculture Gathering will be held at Woolsey Bridge Fields, just outside of Diss, in South Norfolk. Woolsey Bridge Fields is a green site that is managed for wildlife and conservation, with an off grid campsite (access to mains water but no electricity). The site has a fully provisioned kitchen, compost toilets, hot showers, wood-fired sauna, a roundhouse and a central hearth.
It’s a community camp, so we tend to cook and eat communally with everyone contributing to food (although anyone can opt out of this) and sharing jobs around the campsite such as cooking, cleaning, wood and water collection etc. and there’s always plenty of time for relaxing and just hanging out around the fire.
Campervans and caravans are welcome (no hook-ups).
Sorry, no dogs. (Except service dogs by arrangement)
