What happens when we think beyond our own homes and start looking at energy at the community level?

In the final Campfire in our Designing with Energy series, we'll explore the potential of community energy and the different ways people can take a more active role in shaping how energy is produced, shared and used. 

Duncan Law, Head of Policy & Advocacy at Community Energy England, will bring a sector-wide perspective, drawing on his experience of community energy projects and his work to influence the policy and regulatory environment.

We'll explore what community energy can make possible, what lessons we can learn from the movement so far, and where opportunities for people-led energy might be heading.

About Duncan Law
Duncan is Head of Policy and Advocacy at Community Energy England. He co-founded Brixton Energy and Repowering London and has worked on community-led approaches to climate and energy since 2006.
