Permaculture Association Gathering 2026
Permaculture Association Gathering 2026
Saturday 24 October 2026 | Bridge 5 Mill, Manchester | Arrivals from 10.30am · 11am–5.30pm
Come and spend a day in Manchester with the Permaculture Association community, learning, sharing, meeting other people and helping shape what comes next for the organisation. This year's gathering will be a particularly important one as we'll be launching our new strategy for the years ahead. We'll explore what it means for our work and our wider network, and create plenty of opportunities for you to contribute your ideas and experience.
A day of learning, connection and conversation
We'll begin with a welcome and opening session, followed by hosted networking sessions and plenty of informal time to meet others and share what you're working on.
After lunch, choose from four workshops, including a session exploring Youth in Permaculture and a special contribution from the Kindling Trust, who will share their work developing a new farm and community food system.
We'll also come together for an interactive plenary to reflect on the day and explore some of the opportunities ahead.
There's no expectation to arrive with anything prepared, but you're very welcome to bring information about your own groups, projects, designs or other work to share with others.
Whether you're a long-standing member, a newer member or simply interested in finding out more about permaculture, we'd love you to join us.
Food and refreshments
A simple lunch is included in your ticket. Please let us know about any dietary requirements when you book.
Tea, coffee, herbal drinks and cakes will also be available throughout the day on a pay-as-you-feel/donation basis.
Stay on for the evening
If you'd like to continue the conversation after the gathering, we'll suggest a local pub or restaurant where people can meet informally after the event.
