Field Trip Sketch Comedy Presents: Field Trip After Dark

The sketch comedy trio beloved all across North America proudly presents its fourth ever LIVE sketch comedy special! It's FIELD TRIP: AFTER DARK! After a long winter where New England is plunged into darkness, the gloom can only be dispelled with the 3 G's: Goofs, Gaffs, and Gut-busting scripted comedy divided into individual scenes that may or may not have some thematic attachment to each other! Come on a brand new Field Trip with us!

Field Trip is a Boston-based sketch comedy trio whose work has been described as “refreshingly positive,” “surprisingly touching,” “cured my IBS,” and “not for me.” Since 2022, they’ve been delighting audiences with their brand of fast-paced, so-dumb-it’s-smart humor. They've performed at festivals in Portland, New York, DC, Philadelphia, Montreal, and Seattle, and now they're bringing another full hour-long special back home to Somerville Massachusetts! You won't want to miss it.

Doors 7:45, show at 8:00.

FAQ:

When do I show up?
We recommend arriving maybe 10 minutes before 8 to get good seats.

Where do I pick up the merch I ordered?
We'll have the merch ready for when we check you in! If you arrive after the show has started, we can get you your merch after the show.

Is this improv?
Sort of, but not really. It is comedy, but unlike improv, everything is scripted. Think SNL but with three goobers instead of beloved celebrities.

Is this stand up?
Again, no. Stand up is just one person telling jokes and is a much more popular format.

Is this cricket?
No, cricket is a bat and ball game between two teams of eleven players.

If I’m lactose intolerant, should I drink milk?
Definitely not. You may feel tempted to drink milk, especially if your friends are partaking. Know that this is rooted in your primal urge to establish social bonds through mutual interests. You can get your calcium elsewhere, so pass on the glass.
