About the Event

The Worsley Summer Padel Festival is a one-afternoon charity competition bringing together 16 pairs across four courts at Padel 16 in Worsley. Whether you’re a seasoned club player or picking up a padel racket for the first time, this is a day built around good competition, good company, and a genuinely worthwhile cause.

Every penny of your entry fee goes directly to Rugby League Cares, the sport’s official charity, supporting current and former players, their families, and communities across the north of England and beyond.

The Format

• Registration from 12.45pm, first matches at 1pm
• 16 pairs competing across 4 courts in a round robin format
• Mixed ability welcome, competitive but not cutthroat
• Finals and prize-giving for the top pairs
• Post-event drinks and food to close the afternoon

The Cause

Rugby League Cares provides welfare support, mental health services, education programmes and community funding to players — past and present, and the communities the game calls home. 100% of entry fee revenue goes directly to the charity.

The Venue

Padel 16 is located at Worsley Sports Club, Walkden Road, Worsley, M28 3NL. Four courts, changing facilities, licensed bar and free parking on site. Two minutes from junction 13 of the M60.
