Your favourite festival’s favourite festival is back, running 14 - 18 October, bringing delicious international contemporary performance right to your doorstep. Are we bringing █████ █████'s seminal work █████ to Birmingham? Will █████ █████ return with their latest creation? Will it be the UK debut for █████ █████? Are we launching new collaborations with █████ █████ and █████? 🤭 🤭 🤭

We can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Marking our shared commitment to creating opportunities for dance, our long standing partner, Fabric, will also join us to support the launch of the THIS IS DANCE Autumn season, which brings internationally recognised artists to the city, and reflects the broader ambition of the programme, demonstrating the value of organisations working together. THIS IS DANCE is an international dance season in Birmingham, presented in partnership with Birmingham Hippodrome, Birmingham Rep, Fabric, Fierce Festival, Midlands Arts Centre and Sampad Arts.

This DOUBLE launch event will take place Thursday 23 July 6 to 8 pm at House of Beorma, an instantly iconic new gallery space in Digbeth. It’ll also double as our expanded Fierce Festival Hub this October.

More is more and everyone is welcome! Join us to celebrate the launch of our incredible Fierce Festival 2026 programme and an unmissable THIS IS DANCE season.

Oh and the first drink’s on us. 🥂

The space is wheelchair accessible, all activity will take place on the ground floor with a wheelchair accessible toilet. Bench seating will be available as well as a number of chairs with backs. All activity will take place in one large room so noise levels will likely be consistent throughout the space; we will have ear defenders if needed. Toilets are all gender neutral. Soft drinks and alcohol will be on sale.
