About FIKA
In this day and age, it can be difficult to make genuine connections with other like-minded girls. So, we decided to do something about it. FIKA aims to create a safe space for women of all colour and backgrounds, to nurture new friendships by taking part in wholesome activities. FIKA is a safe place where you can leave your troubles behind, even if it is just for a couple of hours.
At FIKA we want to be more than just a social gathering; we are a sisterhood where every woman is valued, supported and empowered. So much so that our ‘A’ signifies women of all backgrounds. It could be a crown, a hijab, or even just your hair blowing in the wind — whatever it represents for you.
FIKA is originally a Swedish term and naturally, we have decided to create our own meaning which can be broken down to three fundamentals:
Uplifting energy
Awakening your inner child
Meaningful connections
