Film London Labs: The Producers Sessions
Producers serve as the vital guiding force of a project from development to delivery. But in today’s shifting creative landscape, producers have to work harder than ever to balance developing projects they’re passionate about with gaining financial stability. So how can emerging producers build sustainable careers, find fruitful opportunities and develop the most relevant screen projects?
This online lab invites emerging producers moving into long-form content, to explore a diverse range of paths through the field—gaining real-world insights from established producers to look at how they got their start and how they bring projects to life.
We'll unpack the wide-ranging roles within producing; including development and story producing, working in the creator economy, commercials, television, and establishing a voice in independent film—offering a dynamic overview of the modern producing landscape.
N.B. - This lab is different to the annual The Production Finance Sessions, which focuses on the financing and business aspects of independent film, which will take place in September 2025 (dates TBC).
