Music for Sudan: A Night of Regional Sudanese Music

Join us for a fundraiser celebrating Sudan’s music heritage. The event will feature live
performances representing music from different regions of Sudan, showcasing country’s
rich music diversity.
The program will pay tribute to the late Abdelgadir Salim, known as the “King of
Mardoum,” a music style closely linked to the Kordofan region. It will also highlight
Aghani Al-Banat, a women-led Sudanese music tradition, along with other Sudanese
music styles.
Performances by Jumana Eltgani and Ahmed Allord.

All proceeds will go toward supporting people displaced from Darfur and Kordofan.
