Save The Waves Film Festival returns for its 2026 global tour - the world's only international surf and environmental film festival, hosted by nonprofit Save The Waves Coalition since 2008.

This year's lineup features short films from surf breaks across California, Ghana, Portugal, the Azores, the Canary Islands, Indonesia, Australia, Peru and Mexico - inspiring nonfiction and documentary stories on surf and water sports, travel and adventure, conservation and climate.

STWFF is also a showcase for surf ecosystem conservation, featuring new films about those on the frontlines of coastal protection. Tickets and proceeds benefit surf ecosystem conservation projects worldwide through Save The Waves' environmental programmes.

Finisterre is proud to support the 2026 tour, hosting screenings in stores across the UK.
