Join us as we spend a Sunday cycling, walking or riding the bus through our wonderful constituency of Islington North – and stop at landmarks in every Islington North ward along the way. All members of Finsbury Park branch in Islington North Labour Party, as well as their friends, family and supporters, are welcome to participate.

If you complete the whole course by bicycle, bus or on foot, you will travel approximately 15 kilometres, which should take 30 minutes to 1 hour at average cycle speed, 1.5 hours by bus (traffic permitting) and 3 to 3 1/2 hours on foot. You will be asked to stop for a selfie at named locations in each of our eight beautiful wards in Islington North to confirm you've completed the route – and so we can collect lots of pictures of smiling faces and local landmarks! We will begin and end at the Bedford Tavern, 160 Seven Sisters Road, N7.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with full information about the 1 October event, including timetable, map and additional details. We will create a WhatsApp group for information on the day – no spam, we promise!

Timetable:
8:30am - Welcome / registration for walkers outside Finsbury Park tube
9:00 am - Walkers begin (approx 4 hours including selfie stops)
11am - Welcome / registration for cyclists outside Finsbury Park tube 
11:30am - Cyclists begin (faster cyclists will take 1.5 hours including selfie stops, slower cyclists will take 2 hours including selfie stops)
1:00pm - Faster cyclists and walkers finish; meet at the Bedford Tavern
1:30pm - Slower cyclists and walkers finish - meet at the Bedford Tavern 
1:30pm - 3:00pm - Socialising, snacks and raffle at the Bedford Tavern

IMPORTANT NOTE: In addition to paying a registration fee of £15 (or £5 concessions for unwaged, low-waged, students, carers or retired people), you will be asked to obtain sponsors to support your heroic journey around the constituency. We ask that you use your powers of persuasion to obtain a minimum of £15 in sponsorship income – that's just two sponsors at 50p per km each, or one sponsor at £1 per km.
