The Venue: Círculo de Bellas Artes, Madrid

This year’s FIPP World Media Congress takes place in the historic and iconic Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. Known as one of Europe’s most prestigious cultural centres, the Círculo is a private, non-profit institution dedicated to fostering creativity and cultural exchange on an international scale. Established over 90 years ago, this remarkable venue embodies a vision of culture as both a refuge and a bridge across disciplines, integrating visual arts, literature, cinema, science, and the performing arts.

Located between Calle Alcalá and Gran Vía, the Círculo de Bellas Artes building is a celebrated example of early 20th-century architecture, designed by the renowned architect Antonio Palacios. The structure blends grandeur with functional elegance, providing a dynamic space that has hosted countless artistic, intellectual, and social gatherings. From exhibitions and conferences to legendary masked balls, the Círculo has long been a vibrant crossroads of ideas and innovation—a fitting setting for this special centennial edition of the FIPP Congress.
