ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:

Nestled within 40 private acres of desert on the outskirts of Death Valley stands a Castle where the delicate boundary between our world and the world beyond grows faint. Time itself becomes relative, blurring the boundaries between past and present. It is here that three narratives intertwine:

An ardent pursuit of truth amidst uncertainty,

A poignant reunion veiled in impending farewell,

And, most importantly, your own story.

Embark on an intimate immersive theater experience, where the cosmic spectacle of the night sky - unpolluted by ambient light - serves as a celestial backdrop. Guests will embark on a voyage of discovery, exploring the art of saying goodbye, and embracing the transformative power of letting go.

Location & Logistics
1. Where is the venue?

The exact address will be provided to ticket-holders in advance of their show date. The venue is very close to Gold Mountain in Nevada, which is roughly 6 hours from Los Angeles, and 3 hours from Las Vegas by car.

Please note that cell phone service is unreliable on approach to the venue, so detailed arrival and departure instructions will be provided to each participant both digitally and physically.

2. What are the nearest towns?

Bonnie Claire and Goldfield, NV are about an hour's drive away, and both offer affordable lodging options. The nearest major cities - Las Vegas and Los Angeles - are 3 and 6 hours away by car, respectively.

3. What should I wear?

In the wintertime, Death Valley averages about 40°F at nighttime. Please dress in layers, and arrive prepared to spend part of the experience outside. Dress comfortably, and wear closed-toed shoes.

4. How old do I need to be to attend this experience?

All guests must be 18 years of age or older by their scheduled showtime.

The Experience

1. How long is this experience?

The standard, on-site experience itself has a 90-minute runtime. Guests who opt to purchase the overnight experience will receive a brief and poignant epilogue the following morning.

Guests can expect to engage in a variety of pre-show interactions that include both digital and physical elements. The date of purchase determines the length of this phase of the experience.

2. How many people will there be per time slot?

Valediction is designed for up to two guests per time slot.

3. Can I complete the experience alone?

Yes! If you would like to complete this experience solo, please purchase both tickets in your desired time slot.

4. Is this a horror experience?

Valediction is not designed to be a horror experience. While scenes may vary in emotional intensity, the intent is never to frighten.

5. Are there multiple narrative tracks?

Guests will be split apart to experience two separate narrative tracks for just shy of 50% of the experience, with the other 50% of the narrative being experienced together. 

6. How physically demanding is this experience?

Guests must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb several flights of stairs, and lie down. Guests must also be able to walk short distances across uneven desert terrain. Guests may be exposed to fog.

7. What should I know about the overnight add-on?

The Overnight Add-On includes on-site lodging, breakfast, and a brief immersive epilogue for up to two ticket holders. Each room contains a single Queen or King bed. Two of the three rooms share an adjoining bathroom; all three rooms, however, may be asked to adhere to restrictions on non-emergency bathroom use during specific hours in order to facilitate a courteous and private experience for all involved. Guests may not be permitted to leave their rooms to wander the venue once their showtime has concluded, with the exception of bathroom use, emergency situations, or prior express consent from the production team. Please e-mail info@fireflytapestry.com with any questions.
