Live in Leslieville: Stories & Songs

Thu 22 May 2025 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM The Greenwood Cafe, M5L 1C9

Three songwriters, three sets, three distinct voices—one special night of original music in the east end.

Join independent Toronto artists Daisy Wine, Mattea Sharp, and Mike Z for an intimate evening of live music at The Greenwood Café on Thursday, May 22.

The Greenwood Café • 7-10pm

1374 Queen Street East, (Greenwood and Queen)
Toronto, ON M5L 1C9
(416) 461-1122

All proceeds are divided equally among the artists. @daisy_wine_o | @matteasharp | @firesideghosts

We believe that everybody in the community should have a chance to enjoy live music, so there will be a PWYC option available at the door the night of the event (quantity limits based on venue capacity).

Daisy Wine

Daisy Wine (@daisy_wine_o) is the solo project of singer songwriter Fleur Dosnon. Mixing old-timey blues with 90’s alternative rock, occasionally throwing in a couple of gypsy jazz chords because why not? It’s all about blurring the lines between music genres to try and push the limits of how much emotion a guitar and a voice can convey.

Mattea Sharp

Mattea Sharp (@matteasharp) is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter known for her soulful vocals and introspective lyrics. Blending elements of indie pop and folk, she crafts emotionally resonant songs that explore themes of love, identity, and personal growth. Active in the local music scene, Mattea has performed at various venues across the city, building a dedicated following.

Mike Zimmermann

Mike Z (@firesideghosts | firesideghosts.com) writes and performs unique acoustic(-ish) sets fusing '80s new wave nostalgia and '90s indie energy. He calls it Acoustic Post-Wave.

A seasoned performer with deep Toronto roots, Mike brings an emotional and introspective energy to the stage. He will be sharing a mix of old and new original songs… and perhaps some never-before-heard covers with a few surprises.
