At the Fito Network we are constantly experimenting with creative techniques for connection and collaboration.

Many have flocked to us inspired by our highly engaging, playful style of facilitation.

We want to share these out more widely – for others to learn and replicate in their own work – while offering recurring spaces for people to "drop in and out" for connecting, exchange, and having fun!

Be prepared to be surprised...

As kids, we sometimes get 🎁 "mystery boxes" of toys or goodies where you have no idea what's inside, but know it will leave you presently surprised.

Every month we will offer 1-2 rotating mystery boxes where we "play" with a fun and creative process for co-creation, learning and exchange, co-creation, or wellbeing. 

We might:

• 🎥 Re-enact an adventure movie, changing the characters to real people in our networks
• 🎭 Improv a scene around network engagement – and workshop solutions
• 📖 Craft a collective comic book about a new future in the health sector
• 🌳 Go on a walk in nature together
• 🚦 Draw and share our biggest fears – and our biggest hopes
• 🧩 Do a puzzle putting the pieces together of the global education system
• 💃🏾 Dance – for the whole hour?!

Or 1,000 other things.

What is the Fito Network?

Fito (“fee-toh”), from the Sesotho language in Southern Africa, means “joining diverse pieces to make one powerful effort”.

We are weaving an inclusive and diverse network of network leaders, community coordinators, capacity builders, and supportive funders to increase their collective impact and reshape the way we make change.

Together, we aim to:

• Learn deeply, bridging diverse knowledge for peer support and innovation
• Experiment collaboratively around new methods and cross-network models for impact
• Shift the support ecosystem, increasing resourcing and valorizing networks as essential to social change

In our experience, some of the most impactful social change happens when people have fun together.

Networks can be exciting and engaging places to engage with. When done right, they can bring joy, passion, and deep meaning.

A universal language, play is understood and enjoyed by people of all ages and cultures. At Fito, we leverage play to:
