Emergent technologies for networks
Tue 6 Jun 2023 17:00 - 18:30 CEST
Online, Zoom
Description
How can emergent technologies like web3, AI, etc. support networks?
Join this session to meet some new and upcoming projects that are using emergent technologies such as AI and web3 to support network efforts. Come with a playful mindset: most of the solutions presented here are very experimental, still being developed and are looking for feedback and users to engage with. Find out how you can support these efforts and be supported while helping advance these technologies!
Join us for an exciting event to explore:
New tools to experiment with!
Future visioning into how these technologies might develop in service to networks
You will gain and generate practical insights into how to:
Play with some cutting edge technologies
Participate in testing for new tools and platforms
Speakers and facilitators
Golda Velez is a senior software engineer committed to decentralization and in particular decentralized trust and cooperation work. Her current day job is for 3box, makers of Ceramic and ComposeDB, and she is co-founder of LinkedTrust.us, a public benefit corporation dedicated to sharing equity and working on trust-related things. She collaborates with many others in the decentralized community including co-authored a post with the head of Bluesky, a recent paper from Rebooting the Web of Trust, and is currently working on a collaboration with Greencheck.world and with Trustgraph.net. The exciting thing about decentralized ecosystems is that everyone is motivated to build bridges, not moats!
Day Davis Waterbury serves to protect the living earth and her people. His mission is to equip the regenerative movement at scale at the pace of the polycrisis, connecting place-based systems change initiatives with trust-based funding, and empowering a global network of networks with tools for coordination. Day truly believes that for our species to thrive we need to maximize the number of us who are fully prepared and resourced to contribute collaboratively to co-create a regenerative unfolding.
Hosted at the Tech Corner
