Getting Around using Google Maps, TfL Go, Uber & Parking Apps - Digital Skills Workshop

This classroom style workshop is for people with basic smartphone and tablet skills who want to learn more about online maps, finding directions, using public transport apps, and pinpointing locations. We will look at Google Maps, TfL Go, Uber and Parking Apps and give a brief overview of CityMapper. We will do some practical exercises and volunteers will be present to help where necessary. You are advised to bring along any passwords used with your device in case you need to download anything.

(If you are a complete beginner or using a laptop, you would benefit more from attending one of our free Tuesday afternoon sessions at the Five Bells Pub N2 0LZ where one-to-one help is offered.)

Doors will open at 9.45 and refreshments will be available. We will start at 10am and finish by 12.30 with a short break at around 11.15.

This will be very similar to the workshop we ran last year on the same topic, but with a few new elements added, so do come along if you missed it last time.
