Using the NHS app and website - Digital Skills Workshop
Share this event
For users of smartphones and digital tablets, this workshop will cover all the useful things you can do with the NHS App once you have registered. We will also share tips on navigating the NHS website and accessing trusted health information & services online. Farah Josephs, Senior Health Ambassador with Groundwork London, will be leading the workshop, and retired GP, Marta, will be there too and hopefully we can answer any questions you may have.
The workshop will be very similar to the one we ran last year, so no need to attend if you were there last year. But if you missed this workshop last time we ran it, you should come along and discover what's possible with the NHS app, and much more.
If you wish to register with the NHS app to be able to view your personal health records, this is best done with one-to-one help at one of our Tuesday afternoon sessions at the Five Bells Pub, due to all the documentation required and the time it takes to register. But this workshop session will look at things that are generally available with just
- an email address (with more than 6 characters)
- a mobile phone or a landline number
To be able to use some services, you will also need to provide your:
- NHS number or your full name
- date of birth
- postcode
Doors will open at 9.45am with refreshments available, and we will start at 10.00. There will be a short break at around 11.15 and we will be finished by 12.30 latest
