Community Repair
Come join us for a day of fixing, mending, and repairing at Peabody Estate Community Mobile Recycling Centre. Whether you have a broken toaster, hairdryer or airfryer our team of skilled volunteers will be on hand to help you out. It's a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet your neighbours, and reduce waste by giving your items a second life. Don't throw it away - fix it!

At Community Repair you’ll work one-on-one with a Fixing Factory Fixer to inspect, diagnose, and repair your beloved item.

We ask that you stay and work with us for the duration of your repair; we cannot accept items dropped off for repair without the owner being present.

We offer booked slots alongside a limited first-come, first-served basis. Let us know if you cannot make this event, so we can let others know there are more spaces left!

There is no charge for this service. To share our skills with as many people as possible, we kindly ask that you only bring one item for repair to each session.

We do try our hardest to accommodate everyone, but unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a repair for everyone on a first-come, first serve basis.
