Up to six people can join a workshop. You can attend with a friend (or group of friends) or alone - it will be a friendly and relaxed environment. Our ratio of six participants to 1-2 workshop facilitators ensures each participant will get plenty of 1:1 attention and be able to try activities.
- Are there any restrictions on who can join?
No one under the age of 18 is allowed to join a Fixperience Workshop.
- What preparation is required for the workshops?
No prior training or complex registration is needed - just turn up on the day. All workshops will include a Health and Safety briefing at the start.
- Do participants need any special equipment/clothing?
No - all equipment will be provided on the day. Wear clothes suitable for hands-on activities, that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. Don’t wear open shoes, and tie up long hair. We’ll send an email confirmation before the workshops with final details of what to bring.
- Are the workshops accessible for me?
The workshops are designed for the general public, so don’t require any special level of fitness. You’ll need to be able to handle and see items on a table in front of you. If you have accessibility requirements, let us know before booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
- What if I can no longer attend the event?
Bookings are only refundable up until a week before the event. After that point they are non-refundable. This is because we are a charity and need to pay our staff and facilitators/fixers to run events, so we lose charitable income from last-minute cancellations. It may be possible to reschedule your booking, but this is entirely at the workshop manager's discretion and may depend on overall numbers and availability for the particular workshop.
Contact us on ana@therestartproject.org if you want to reschedule.
