Dislocated Dresser: Automata Workshop with Carlos Zapata

Step into a world where the ordinary comes alive. Join internationally acclaimed artist Carlos Zapata for a free family-friendly workshop at Discovering42 during Flamm Festival. Families will transform recycled materials into imaginative moving automata, inspired by Carlos’s playful, surreal installation Dislocated Dresser. Create, experiment, and take home your own miniature marvel—or add it to a special festival display. A joyful celebration of creativity, reuse and community.

The workshop lasts 1.5 hours and will run at:

• 12pm
• 2.30pm

All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by adults. Limited places available, booking recommended.
