JOB READY - RESUME AND INTERVIEW BOOTCAMP (London)

1-Week Job Readiness Workshop (Ages 14–17)

Get Ready. Get Trained. Get Hired.

JOB READY - RESUME AND INTERVIEW BOOTCAMP is a practical, skills-based summer camp designed to prepare teens for their first job—and to help them stand out in today’s competitive hiring environment. This program teaches students how to communicate professionally, deliver great customer service, and translate everyday experiences into resume-ready skills.

Rather than focusing on theory, Job Ready - Resume and Interview Bootcamp helps students understand what employers actually look for and how to present themselves with confidence. Students learn how to talk about babysitting, volunteering, sports, hobbies, and responsibilities in a professional way that makes sense on job applications, resumes, and interviews.

By the end of the week, each student completes a professional Job Readiness Presentation demonstrating their skills, experience, and readiness to work.

Location: London (Downtown area – exact location will be confirmed once minimum enrollment is reached)

What is the workshop?
Job Ready - Resume and Interview Bootcamp is a one-week career readiness camp that teaches teens essential skills to get and succeed in a job, including professional communication, customer service, resume building, and interview preparation.

Does my student need prior job experience?
No. This camp is specifically designed for students with little or no formal work experience.

What if my student has never had a job before?
That’s expected. Students learn how to translate babysitting, volunteering, hobbies, sports, and responsibilities into professional, resume-ready skills.

What skills will students learn?
Students learn professional communication, customer service, workplace behavior, resume writing, interview skills, and how to present themselves confidently to employers.

Will students create a resume?
Yes. Each student creates a student-ready resume or simple portfolio during the camp.

How is this camp different from a resume workshop?
Job Ready focuses on real-world employability skills, not just paperwork. Students learn how to communicate, behave professionally, and explain their experience clearly.

Do students practice interviews?
Yes. Students prepare and present interview-style responses using their own experience.

What is the Friday presentation?
Each student delivers a 10–12 minute individual presentation demonstrating their job readiness, resume, experience translation, and communication skills.

Is the presentation done independently?
Yes. All presentations are individual and student-led, with no role-playing or partner activities.

Is this appropriate for shy or quiet students?
Yes. Students receive coaching, practice, and supportive feedback throughout the week.

How large are the class sizes?
Class sizes are intentionally small to allow for personalized coaching and feedback.

What do students receive at the end of the camp?
Students receive a Certificate of Completion and a Job Readiness Evaluation highlighting strengths and growth areas.

Will this help the student get a real job?
Yes. The skills taught directly align with what employers expect from entry-level and first-time job applicants.

Is this workshop useful even if the student plans to work later?
Absolutely. These skills build confidence, maturity, and communication that benefit students now and in the future.

What should my child bring to camp each day?
Students are required to bring their own personal laptop, as it is an essential tool for participating in daily activities, group work, and project development.
