Flashpoint Training is excited to welcome you to Young People's Theatre for a unique SHSM Career Exploration experience!
Imagine experiencing a live professional theatre production, participating in an engaging post-show discussion, exploring areas of the theatre that audiences rarely get to see, and discovering how creativity, collaboration, and innovation come together to produce world-class performances.
This exciting experience combines live theatre, career exploration, workplace skills, and industry learning into one unforgettable day. Students will gain a greater appreciation for the many people, skills, and departments that work together behind the scenes while participating in Flashpoint's interactive SHSM programming.

- Admission to a professional performance of Battles
- Post-Performance Question & Answer Session with members of the production
- Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Theatre Tour, exploring areas of Young People's Theatre not normally open to the public
- In-Person SPE-ICE Certification with Flashpoint Training

Why Attend?
This immersive experience gives students the opportunity to experience live professional theatre while exploring the teamwork, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills required behind the scenes. Students will leave with a deeper appreciation for the performing arts industry and the many pathways available within creative and cultural organizations.
Our Event Policies
π₯ Student Numbers: Register your expected attendance. Student substitutions are welcome, but additional students require advance approval.
β° Deadline for Changes: Attendance numbers may be adjusted up to 30 days before the event. After that, attendance numbers are considered confirmed.
π° Payment: Payment is due 30 days before the event to secure your reservation.
π Transportation: We'll work with your school's transportation schedule whenever possible. Please advise us of any special timing requirements in advance.
π Event Dates: Final event details will be confirmed at least one month before your visit.
π¦οΈ Unexpected Closures: Events impacted by weather or school closures will be rescheduled.
π Supervision: Schools are responsible for providing the required number of staff/chaperones in accordance with school board policies.
π» Absent Students: Students who are unable to attend will still have access to a complimentary online version of the certification included with the event.
