Seeing wildlife in its natural habitat can be a captivating experience for many, and wildlife tourism has become a global industry. Many countries now rely on foreign tourists to support important conservation work in their communities.

However, wildlife tourism often requires a flight, and those flights ultimately harm wildlife through climate change and habitat loss.

Our panel of experts will give their insights on how to balance these two aspects of wildlife tourism. Is it possible to support conservation efforts while not causing harm to the planet and all its animals? And can we have genuinely exciting wildlife experiences without flying?

Speakers include:

  • Iain Green, a wildlife photographer who has discovered amazing wildlife experiences close to home
  • Christof Middeke, a wilderness guide from Finland who only accepts tourists if they haven't flown to get there
  • Amy Bray, a marine biologist, conservationist and founder of Another Way
