Monitor the Learning - Instructional Leadership Workshop (Orlando)

The Florida Charter Institute is excited to host its third annual instructional leadership professional learning workshop on how to create the foundations of teacher coaching to catalyze outsized student results.

In this three-day workshop, designed for principals, deans of instruction/curriculum, and instructional coaches, FCI will highlight a new and improved "Monitor the Learning" framework -- a coaching model that ensures student learning lives at the forefront of instructional coaching and decision making. Leaders will dive into student work analysis and follow up, as well as how to coach both the newest and most masterful teachers. The final day of programming will guide leaders through the creation of an implementation plan to ensure the session takeaways take root back at schools.

• Date: Tuesday, June 3-Thursday, June 5, 2025
  

• Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (with registration and breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. each day)

• Location: UCP of Central Florida (4780 Data Court, Orlando, FL 32817). Free parking is available.

• Cost: $400 (typically $1500+)

• Recommended Attendees: We recommend that schools bring their complete instructional leadership team, as this best supports future implementation in schools. (We do request that schools cap at 10 attendees.)

• Meals: Light breakfast and lunch are included each day.

• Inservice Points: Inservice points are available. Please bring your FDOE License number to registration.
