The Florida Charter Institute is excited to host its fourth annual instructional leadership workshop, Leading for Learning: The Power of Studying Student Work (formerly Monitor the Learning). This is offered in partnership with the Center for Teaching Excellence and builds on content from the Chancellor's Leadership Academy.
This three-day workshop, designed for principals, deans of instruction/curriculum, and instructional coaches, will immerse participants in a coaching model that ensures student learning lives at the forefront of instructional coaching and decision making. Leaders will deep dive into student work analysis and follow up, as well as how to coach learning live during instruction. The final day of programming will guide leaders through the creation of an implementation plan to ensure the session takeaways take root back at schools.
