Our mission is to develop and maintain a world-class History & Discovery Center that will accurately reflect our Florida Keys community in a multi-faceted and interactive environment. The Foundation opened in 2014 to preserve and share the unique history and ecology of the Florida Keys through engaging and educational historical, cultural and ecological exhibits, artifacts and collections, and special events. We have permanent and temporary exhibits which reflect the cultural history and ecology of the Florida Keys. We offer programs to educate on Keys culture, heritage, history and ecosystem. Our archival library is accessible to the public, researchers and scholars.
