Florida Policy Summit 2026

Florida Policy Institute (FPI) is hosting the second Florida Policy Summit on September 16 and 17, bringing together partners from across the state — leading policy experts, grassroots organizers, community advocates, foundations, educators, students, and community members — so that we can work together toward building a state where all Floridians can truly thrive.

Our theme for this year's summit — Solidarity · Courage · Hope — reflects our commitment to using our collective strength and resolve to build a brighter future, and our programming will be grounded in these values. We will explore topics like policy research and advocacy, strategic partnerships and coalition building, creative communications and narrative strategies, and more!

Events:

September 16, 2026: Pre-Summit Workshops | 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

• View the agenda here. The half-day of workshops will focus on learning and deeper engagement on key issues.
• Lunch is not included, but snacks will be provided during breaks. Participants are encouraged to eat lunch before the workshops begin. Dining options are available onsite and in the surrounding area.
• The recommended attire is business casual.
• Cost: $50

September 16, 2026: Happy Hour | 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

• Connect and celebrate at the evening reception.
• Light food and drinks will be served.
• Cost: The reception is included with the purchase of a ticket for the workshops or the summit until capacity is reached.

September 17, 2026: Florida Policy Summit | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• View the agenda here. The full-day policy summit will include thought-provoking presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and more.
• Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all attendees.
• The recommended attire is business casual.
• Cost: $100

After you register for a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the link to book a hotel room at a discounted rate of $220/night (not including taxes and fees). The hotel block will remain open until August 26 or until it is filled. In 2024, the hotel block filled before the cut-off date, so we encourage participants to book their rooms as soon as they are able.

Cancellation Policy:

For a full refund, cancellations must be received in writing no later than August 26, 2026. No refunds will be granted after August 26; however, substitutions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be given for no-shows. To be considered for a refund, the request must be submitted in writing via info@floridapolicy.org.
