Flow at Frensham
is an inclusive, welcoming outdoor dipping and swimming community rooted in connection — to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world.
Events list
We meet regularly at Frensham to share the restorative benefits of cold-water immersion and time spent in nature, supporting mental health, wellbeing, and a genuine sense of belonging for everyone.
Emerging from the much-loved Frensham Mental Health Swims, Flow at Frensham was created in response to the closure of that group, carrying forward its values while evolving into a broader, community-led offering. We are committed to creating a space where people of all genders, backgrounds, identities, abilities, and levels of experience feel safe, seen, and supported.
Cold water immersion requires care, awareness, and respect for individual limits. Our sessions are gently led and supported by the original Mental Health Swims hosts, who are experienced and trained in introducing people to cold water safely. We offer guidance around pacing, entry, and aftercare, and encourage everyone to listen to their bodies and make choices that feel right for them.
Our gatherings are non-judgemental, playful, and human — with space for laughter, lightness, and shared joy, alongside optional meditation, mindful nature connection, and collective creative practices. All activities are invitational, with no pressure to participate or perform.
Flow at Frensham is a space where everyone is welcome to be themselves, exactly as they are. While we hold public liability insurance, all participants take part at their own risk.
This is not about endurance or achievement — it’s about care, community, fun, and finding your own flow in nature.
