Fly-by-Night Dance Theater (FBN) is a Modern Dance company whose mission is to expand the genre of Aerial Dance with expressive works that inspire human connection. Performances engage audiences viscerally, visually and intellectually. The works integrate dance with aerial apparatus, live commissioned music, and, at times, video projection. The repertory requires the technical skills of a "grounded" dancer, the physical strength and courage of a circus trapeze artist, and the ability to integrate these skills into seamless dancing.

The company is committed to diversity amongst in its community; scholarship auditions for dancers of color have been offered annually for over 10 years as a way to diversify their classes and community.
