Description
**This event has ended**
Celebrate a traditional Burns Night the 2021 way via the power of Zoom!
Join us for an evening of music, pipes, poetry, song and dance to celebrate Scotland’s bard the modern way. Tuck into your own traditional dinner from the comfort of your own home and enjoy the fantastic entertainment we have pulled together. It’s a charity event for the Moray Emergency Relief Fund which has been helping people facing financial hardship due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The supper will be hosted by the Lord-Lieutenant of Moray Major General Seymour Monro whilst the address to the haggis (provided by Macbeth's Butchers) will be made by Alan James, managing director of AJ Engineering and a deputy lieutenant of Moray. During dinner participants will have a choice either to listen to the musical entertainment or join one of the optional Zoom breakout rooms to catch-up with friends and family.
Please donate to the Moray Emergency Relief Fund
It's free to book a ticket to the supper, but with an invitation to make a donation toward the Moray Emergency Relief Fund. The Fund has been set up to help all those in the Moray Council area suffering severe hardship, illness or poverty as a result of the Coronavirus crisis. For more information about the cause visit: https://newsroom.moray.gov.uk/...
You will be redirected to a donations page after booking your ticket to the event. Our suggestion is a donation of £10, but give whatever you can afford.
