Join us for a discussion about fibromyalgia and the menopause with Dr Louise Newson and Dr Deepak Ravindran. It will be a discussion covering areas such as:
- is it the menopause, perimenopause, or fibromyalgia?
- what role can hormones play?
- can testosterone play a part?
Louise the founder of the Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Centre, on her mission to improve the future health of women around the world, reinvesting profits from the clinic to fund ground-breaking research in the menopause space and provide free menopause resources to millions of people worldwide. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (1998) and qualified as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners with Distinction in 2000 (MRCGP) and was subsequently made a Fellow in 2016 (FRCGP). She is a Visiting Fellow at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University. Her latest book is The Definitive Guide to the Perimenopause and Menopause.

Deepak has over 20 years of experience in helping people overcome their pain – in the NHS and private practice. He is one of the few consultants in the UK who possesses triple certification in lifestyle medicine, musculoskeletal medicine, and pain medicine. He has been a consultant in pain medicine since 2010 at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and has helped set up the Fibromyalgia and community pain service for Berkshire and more recently the Long Covid service for Berkshire and he works as a consultant for the specialist pain services for all West Berkshire. He is also the author of the Pain-Free Mindset.
