John Davidson is an activist, campaigner and powerful advocate for people living with Tourette’s. His candid and compelling memoir, I Swear, tells the story of a life shaped by Tourette’s, resilience and a determination to challenge the assumptions and prejudices surrounding the condition. The book is an account of John's actual life story which informed the film the BAFTA Award-winning film I Swear, bringing John’s remarkable story to a much wider audience.

In this special conversation, John is joined by his co-author Abbie Ross, author of Hippy Dinners, to explore the experiences behind the book – from growing up with Tourette’s and confronting misunderstanding and stigma, to finding his voice as a campaigner and using his experiences to make a difference to others.

Expect honesty, humour and extraordinary stories as John talks about the realities of living with Tourette’s, the people and experiences that have shaped him, and why speaking openly about the condition matters.

An honest, moving and often surprising conversation about Tourette’s, identity and finding the confidence to be yourself.
