Liz Berry: Autumn Enchantments: Poetry Workshop

As November deepens, join acclaimed poet Liz Berry for a warm and imaginative poetry workshop inspired by the enchantments of autumn.

Through a series of prompts and exercises, you’ll explore the season through colour, sound, memory and imagination: mixing an autumn palette with words, daydreaming about the wishes falling leaves might carry, and finding poems in the small changes that mark the turning of the year. There will be plenty of opportunity to experiment, play with language and discover where your imagination takes you.

No previous experience is needed — whether you’re an experienced poet or have never written a poem before, come and enjoy a gentle, creative afternoon in good company. Writers of all stages are warmly welcomed to this small group session.
