Humans learn about the world through stories, and shadow puppetry is the perfect vehicle to tell these tales! In this Saturday session, after learning the fundamentals of shadow puppetry as an artform, participants will explore how specific performance techniques reinforce important story elements that deepen student comprehension and understanding. This will be a hands-on session, and teachers will construct shadow theater screens and puppets right on the spot–see you in the land of shadows!
