FOLKESOUND - The Grand Italian Session

The Grand Italian Session — Francesco Ernesto

For one special night, Italian pianist and composer Francesco Ernesto brings a piece of his home in Perugia, and a piece of Italy, to Folkestone.

Francesco will be joined by three exceptional musicians travelling from Perugia especially for the evening:

Antonio Gabriele — Guitar
Leo Marini — Saxophone
Franco Pellicani — Drums

Many in Folkestone will have seen Francesco performing with different bands across the town, but this will be a chance to see a very different side of his music.

Set inside the beautiful St Mary & St Eanswythe Church, Francesco will perform on both the grand piano and church organ, joined by Antonio, Leo and Franco for an evening of original music, blues, jazz and improvisation.

The entire performance will also be recorded live to create an album from the night, as well as being captured on film by Folkesound.
