Grape Witches x Not Far From the Tree

Join FoodShare Toronto for an evening of delicious learning and community connection! On July 7th from 5pm–8pm at Grape Witches, discover how to transform Toronto's urban fruit harvest into homemade freezer jam while diving a little deeper into the bigger picture of food justice.

Led by FoodShare educators, this hands-on workshop will guide you through jam-making using seasonal fruit picked from trees across the city – thanks to our partners at Not Far From the Tree. This session will also include some wine tasting (3 small glasses) and education from the knowledgeable team at Grape Witches, perfectly paired with your freshly-made jam and some snacks.

Whether you're a kitchen novice or a seasoned cook, this workshop celebrates local abundance, food sovereignty, and the power and joy of making things together.

Cost? Sliding scale ($50-$100)
