Second Spring Growing Guide

'Second Spring' is a term we heard from Vital Seeds (a wonderful, small scale organic seed supplier based in Devon) which refers to the second batch of sowing we do to ensure a continuous and reliable cropping throughout winter! 

There's still plenty to be sowing throughout the summer that will give you nutritious, homegrown goodness over the colder months - all that's needed is a little forward planning!
