Come enjoy a leisurely morning adventure meeting the local hedgerow and grassland plants with me, Olwyn Williams. Learn how to safely identify and harvest these common plants, and explore the food and medicinal uses of these wonderful wild seasonal offerings - greens, fresh shoots, roots, fruits and bark, depending on the time or year. You might even change your perspective on 'weeds'! Suitable for beginner foragers and non-beginners, gardeners, foodies, and nature lovers alike.
Price and What you get
Tea/coffee and a sweet treat, foraging safety talk, 3hr walk & talk meeting the plants, light picnic with some foraged goodies at the end of the walk including beverages. Suitable for adults and children 10yrs+, €50/€30 respectively. Book for 3 people at once and save €10 per ticket.
Be advised that you will receive an email a few days before the date of the walk with details of meeting points etc, please make sure that the email address you use to book is active and you check it regularly. I recommend that you save my email address, talmhuwitholwyn@gmail.com, to ensure no emails end up in your spam folder. There is no need to print out your ticket.
