⚘ Potion making and Summer Wildcraft in the Hermitage of Braid/Blackford ⚘

Join us for a gentle midsummer wildcrafting session exploring the folklore and herbal traditions of midsummer.

Together we’ll forage seasonal plants, learn about midsummer herb lore and create botanical potions inspired by traditional folk remedies.

Expect herbal tea and hands-on crafting in celebration of the approaching solstice.

~ This session is facilitated alongside my wonderful collaborator Jim from the Gracemount Community Gardens Queer Gardening Group.

We recommend you bring a cup to enjoy some tea with us!

MEETING INFO:

We will meet you at The Lodge Coffee House, 69B Braid Rd, EH10 6JF Edinburgh. You can get a cuppa beforehand if you fancy. There is usually a bathroom available. We will have start our walk at 11am, so do please try to come on time.

ACCESS INFO:

The terrain at Blackford can be uneven, so sturdy footwear and waterproofs are recommended. We’ll be moving slowly and spending time wandering and gathering as part of the experience so it's not a big hike by any means.
