Family Easter Forest Fun

The Event

Join Ranger Pete for our Family Easter Forest Fun session. 

Take part in forest Easter crafts, a mini Easter hunt & Easter activities, enjoy hot cross buns toasted on the fire, play in the hammocks, mud kitchen and explore the forest. 

What age is this event suitable for?

Suitable for 4 years plus.

Parents must accompany children at all times.

Event Information

• Please meet at the covered seating area outside the main visitor cafe at 10am prompt. Unfortunately we are unable to wait for you if you arrive late and if you have not been before you will not be able to find the site without a ranger.
• As the weather is unpredictable in April we ask you to wear layers and be prepared for colder weather. Our recommended clothes list is as follows - a thick waterproof coat & waterproof trousers, snow boots/fleece lined wellies/boots, thick socks, long sleeved trousers. long sleeved thin top, thin jumper, thicker fleece/hoodie, hat and gloves. 
• We do have outdoor shelters if the weather is poor however children must wear appropriate outdoor clothing.
• The forest site is a 10 minute walk away and there is a steepish hill at the end of the walk to access the site we use. Please bare this in mind when booking for young children. Due to the hill and uneven ground at the site, it is not suitable for prams, instead we recommend carriers/slings for younger siblings. 
• All events are non-refundable and non-transferrable and our sessions go ahead in all weathers except high winds. If the event is cancelled due to high winds, we will try to rearrange the event, if this is not possible full refunds will be given. If the event is sold out and you are no longer able to attend the event please let us know and we will do our best to resell your ticket. If your ticket does sell, we will of course refund you. 
• Your ticket will automatically be emailed to you after booking, please check your junk/spam if it does not appear in your inbox.
• Parking charges apply, there are no discount codes available during school holidays. Please visit the Forestry England Delamere Forest website for up to date parking charges. If you are visiting us regularly we do recommend purchasing an annual Forestry England parking pass from the visitor centre. The annual pass does have other benefits including a discount at Delamere Cafe and other on-site franchises.
