Tuesday Home Ed Over 11s - 28th April, 2nd June & 30th June

These sessions are for home educated children over the age of 11 years only. 

Dates of sessions are:

Tuesday 2nd June

Tuesday 30th June

There will also be a session on the 21st July for those that can make it. This will be a single session which will be available to book on the 30th June.

We have activities planned for the season but we do also ask the group what they are interested in and do follow their lead and interests. Past activities have included fire lighting, cooking on the fire, whittling, tool use, foraging, flora and fauna identification, various types of shelter building, knot work.

Please complete a parental consent form if this is your first time attending (you will only need to do this once unless any of your details change). You will be asked to complete a form on arrival at your first session.

Please meet at the car park at 10am prompt. To access the car park, please drive up the main drive, continue as far as you can go and this will lead you to the car park. Do not turn off at any point on the drive, continue all the way to the top and the rangers will meet you there. 

Please note we only release one month at a time, therefore some tickets will appear sold out, they will be released on the day of the session the month earlier.

All events are non-refundable and non-transferable and our sessions go ahead in all weathers except high winds. Refunds will only be given if events are cancelled by Forest Explorers. Please do not ask for a refund or to transfer your ticket to another event.
Sessions will be cancelled if we do not fulfil our minimum numbers; if this is the case refunds will be issued to those booked on.

Car parking is free, you are welcome to stay on site whilst your child joins in the session or you can drop off and leave. 

We ask that parents do not join us at the session however if you stay on site we are never too far away if needed.
